A History Revealed: The Inventions of Minnie Eureka Young was first exhibited at the Anderson Gallery in Richmond Virginia as my MFA Thesis in 2007, and later as a solo exhibition at the Arlington Art Center in 2008.  The exhibition is presented as a curatorial exploration of recently discovered inventions by a character from my genealogy.   Each piece supports a loose narrative and is presented as if ‘On Loan’ from a museum. The exhibition is an exercise in the presentation of alternative history and the promotion of wonder in the viewer experience.
